I write the words I can not say.

Words are powerful And they are a weapon we all hold Some take aim and fire the ones that will hurt the most Some build up empires with the promises formed by cascading lies And some destroy everything for not using them at all I like to think I have a firm grasp on the form of war fare that is words Yet I can only write them down I will never be able to say exactly what you’d like to hear There will hardly be times where I can tell you anything at all But please Just ask me to write And then and only then Will my thoughts never be questioned Because as I sit with my words flowing out of my hands and onto paper They form the defense I need For you to believe everything I've never been able to say.
