I'll be honest, I'm not much of a poet

But I'm writing this because I love you.

And I dont tell you that to hear it back.

No, I tell you because if I leave this earth tomorrow, I need to make sure that you knew about and felt the love I had for you.

I tell you because I know you need to hear it.

I know you dont heaar it- not from your other children or even from yourself.

But I tell you because I love you.

And I don't always say "I love you."

No, sommetimes I say, "If you need anything, just let me know."

Sometimes I ask "Are you hungry? Do you wanna go out?"

But everytime I see you, I tell you I missed you so much...

Because I love you

And I will always love you, mom.
