I wrote my own family

We put on the TV

Every weekend night

And have

“Family time”

But i've taken to hiding

Because why bother

With “family time”

When there's no family for you

And no time to spend on it

So i hide

And i make my own family

From words

And paper

And i make time for them

And rewind my clock

And pretend

I have all night

For my family

Of words
