I w̶a̶n̶t̶ Need You

Some say love is an option,

I saw it's a choice.

Being with that special someone

Who never grows tired of your voice.

See for me it was easy,

there was never anyone else to pick

I always knew you'd be mine

No matter how quick.

It all started when my looks,

turned to gazes.

Too nervous to talk

my mind in a million mazes

Forever pinching my arm to ensure I'm not dreaming,

thinking about our future,

And all of its' meaning.

But it didn't take long

For loves an instant emotion,

I knew right there, I would give you my full devotion.

And to symbolize that feeling I purchased this rose

Which contradicts our love,

Since it now never grows.

I need you in my life

now, then, and forever,

Willing to be your Atlas,

with whatever we endeavor
