I, You, and We

Because I love you, I will pick you up

Because you're upset, I will cheer you up

Because you fell, I will help you up

Because you're wet, I will dry you up

Because you're messy, I will clean you up

Because you are weary, I will wake you up

Because you are drained, I will fill you up

Because you are special, I will never give you up

Because you love me, I will wife you up

Although I am angry, I will not spite you

Although I am wrong, I will not lie to you

Although I am frustrated, I will not blame you

Although I am strong, I will respect you

Although I am successful, I will not outshine you

Although I am broken, I will not detest you

Although I distrust, I will not cross you

I will love you when things don't go right

I will trust you even when we are out of sight

I will listen to you when we talk

I will compromise when we disagree

I will accept things when we can't come up with a solution

I will change when we struggle
