Icarus
I was me,
But now I'm not.
Icarus lives,
Inside of my soul,
He’s cold now not hot,
I flew too close to,
Your sun,
You burnt me bad,
And I can never repare,
The damage you’ve done,
To my mangled body,
Its broken forever now,
Yet I will still fly close,
And let you burn me,
Without a wail of sound
Icarus is me,
I am not my own,
I will let you ruin me,
If it makes you,
Take me home
