On Ice
It's a cold world and there's not one nigga who's real.
Everyday I i wake up and i see that its hard out here.
I try an keep my head on straight,
Saying fuck the regrets-and the mistakes.
I feel my heart grow colder,
Everyday that I get older.
feeling like I don't give a fuck, just looking out for myself.
changing for the worse, and I'm not asking for help.
I'm growing colder, as the days go by.
When I look back at my past, then I know exactly why.
Every time I look around.
Somebody has their hand out,
Trying to see all I can give.
But I overlook it because-nobody has my back but me
In this life I live.
Everyday there's another side of me,
Straight from the bottom no one rides for me.
I gotta do it all on my own.
do it for my self- all alone.
and i stay one deep, deep in thought
so much going through my mind- feeling distraught.
I do some shit to take me there and get my mind right.
I need all I can get;and I give all I can-to get through the day and night.
hate steady creeping...
through my body racing through my mind.
all I can do to to keep it moving is smile through these trying times.
keep my head in order try not to forget my lines.
I take chances, and I stay bout that life- because nothing comes easy I have to grind to shine.
I keep my mind on what's next
as the days progress.
try to keep my head up and fight off the stress.
colder and colder till my soul is froze.
all the struggles I face on the daily, nobody knows.
and not a one can understand what I've been through so I keep to myself.
I swear I'm changing for the worse, but I'm not asking for help.
the come up wasn't easy so I'll never forget.
because I have learned so much from the tears that I've shed.
