I’m sorry to say I
don’t love a thing

except perhaps words,
some beats and sights,
villains and sin,
and a few people as
apathetic as I

and do I even care?
I was made to be wrathful
and made to be bulletproof—

don’t forget guilty—

I’m a tree in winter
and my leaves are too heavy.
