The Ice and The Blackberries

The ice on the grass

Looked way better than brass

The dying blackberry

Seems to vary

Giving a different message

Than the ice

The ice said, “Winter is here!”

The blackberry replied with

“My end is near!”

The sparkle of the ice looks nice

The dying brown of the blackberry

Seems down.

Bow down

To

The

Ice.
