Ice and Snow

The attractive gaze lures me from my cave Sparkling in the light, a white blanket Crystals clung to my dwelling fall with a wave Piercing the ground below like small lancets The scent wisps of sweet savory prey A fast and furious chase is engaged As I lift from the earth in my special way The glistening hills creating my stage Strong blades of wind cut through my thick armour I tumble down to the soft white powder Skin tingling with hot and spicy tremors Dissappointed as the chase turns sour As my aching empty stomach bellows I return to my home of ice and snow
