Ice Cream

On the white sandy beach,

I stand alone,

away from civilization,

on my deserted island.

I have only one thing:

Ice cream.

When the gleaming sun shines,

it keeps me cool.

When I begin forget,

it will bring me back to,

my sweet memories.

The memories of my past,

 will bring me hope,

as  I remember who is waiting,

for me when I  return.

When I am bitter,

it will make the tears go away,

in order to continue my search

for a way to escape.

Time will be an illusion,

To me it will not exist,

as I find my way back,

to the people I most love, and

the thing I most love,

My family and Ice cream.
