Ice Floats

Mother

I'm pretty sure she loves me.

Father

sometimes I wonder if he does.

Sister

doesn't seem to care.

We can fight

and I know that is okay

but sometimes it feels like

they break us even further.

Like pieces of ice,

slowly drifting away.

Further and further.

So far that we will soon,

not be able to come back together.

So far that we won't realize til' it is too late.

So far that we cannot see eachother.

So far that we will not fight the current

and instead, drift forever

and ever.
