The Ice Princess

You stole it from me
The most precious thing
You can’t return it
It’s gone forever

The wet grass
Against my knees
My hands shaking
Drenched In sweat

My face shamed
Streaming with tears
I couldn’t believe
You stole it from me

It ruined me forever
I could never get it back
And you smiled and laughed
Saying “pretty Ice Princess”

Why did you tell me
That I was beautiful
That it was okay
While you stole it from me

I couldn’t walk away
I was shattered and dead
But now that I know
You were dead to me too
