I'd Color

I'd color The sky your favorite shade of blue, The grass your favorite shade of green, Everything I like would be the color of your eyes, So wen I see those things I think of you, Everything I dislike would be the color black, So I don't find a way of tempting light to make me think of you, I want my world to keep you on my mind all the time, Because since you been gone, I only seem to be happy wen my thought are of you, You feed me hope and faith in my darkest days, You taught me praying prayers to keep God in my heart, I lost you at a very young age, But now I'm envious of those prior days, When I couldn't sleep and sharing your warm hot cocoa, Was my sleeping potion, Days I wish to show you what you raised, So you can be proud, But those days just never seem to be around, I fear I'm to hopeless to make you smile, From the heavens, Missed summers coasting, chilling, relaxing with you, But honestly reminiscing on those days kill me, You never got the chance to see me grow, To see me blossom, To see me graduate, But I promise grandma will see me at my best, And when true love reunites you guys again, She can tell you everything and more, The day I get married, The kids I will have, If its the last thing I do I will, Make you happy to call me, Your granddaughter, Miss you grandpa, Love always, Janicia
