I'd rather be

Let them be as a book

always educational,conversational, and motivational

but not entertaining

I’d rather be a lonely, blank page,

halfway torn out the book, like a bag

that is holding too much weight

To have burst through the hard cover,

to learn, to get experienced, to the way

of the never ending story.

To be the page that is hanging out the book,

not knowing when it’s gonna fall,

if it does, will it drift through air

or will it just fall and stay there.

I’d rather be crumbled, and if

decided to be thrown away,

than to be a big book

that is cliche and uninteresting

and read over and over

by a bland voice

I’d rather smell of dirty, moldy, wet clothes

than of nice cherry blossoms

If I could be independent and lead my own way

I’d rather be a lonely blank page

Well phrased, I think, though I'm certainly glad you don't create "lonely blank page[s]"!
