an idea

An idea Caught in the tangles of whys and what ifs Hidden beneath a blanket of insecurities and doubt Blooming into a possiblity of action But restrained by the boundaries of society Creativity Lost in the thoughts and opinions of others Full of potential, with dreams of acceptance and success Fearful of the chance of rejection, hesitantly surfacing Only to quickly retreat into the safety of cowardice We exist in an ocean of superficiality Our passion for individuality burning with ferocity unknown to any other Misunderstood and longing to be revealed Unknown, but hanging on the edge of a revolution
