The Idea of Love

Love compared to water; Is like comparing above to below,

Because how can an emotion of happiness make you feel so low?

With just a few words you can change someone’s vigor,

And make their life seem like an error?

With a mask that has been fabricated,

By greed and self-indulgence, how can a person’s effort’s try?

When the words of another tend to crucify.

How can a person cause such irritation?

That’ll plague another with mortification.

The ideas planted in our minds of how it should be,

Do not follow the actual authenticity.

Because we have adopted this fantasy

We no longer have our vitality.

Because how can a person try?

When the words of another tend to crucify.

We are not mice

We are not here to sacrifice,

The purpose of a lover is to benefit

Not to forfeit,

So where did we learn this fantasy?

That made us lose our apathy.

The love we know today is hated

But the idea of love is awaited.

Modern love is debated

While older love is outdated

New love is recreated,

But is unappreciated,

And while people are infatuated with the idea

Actual love is isolated,

Actual love is manipulated,

While people seek to liberate,

Others seek to mutate.

So where did we learn this fantasy?

That made us lose our apathy,

So when a person’s effort’s try,

They begin to feel crucified .
