Identity
I am what I was a born to be,
A human to the core,
Raised to survive,
Nurtured to care,
to love,
to live,
to enjoy.
I am one,
but many are a part of me.
Others can imitate,
but never duplicate,
who I am.
I am the product of what I have witnessed,
what I had to endure,
the details don't matter,
everyone has their own story to tell,
I choose to tell my own through others.
This poem is about:
Me
My family
My community
My country
Our world
