Identity
Are you the Mask, or are you the Hider?
The one who sees Dark worlds, or the one who sees Brighter?
Are you Her? Or perhaps you are She?
The one with No hope, or the one who can See?
As you write, it matters Not.
Both Write, and quite a lot.
No one can tell the Difference between thee,
No one can tell your desperate attempts to not be "We".
You don't do this often, these letters to Self,
Because you can't tell which personality you've Taken On from the Shelf.
Even Sitting at times, How Can You Tell
Which Side, no, which Person is Showing so well?
So, somtimes you write, for a time to forget
Which Girl is You, will be forever Set.
You say you are One, but are, for now, truly the Other.
Many hundred plus days to be One for your Lover.
