Identity (Flawless Scholarship Submission)

Location

I look to my arm,

there lie my flaws

flaunting their discreet disgrace.

Though despite the scars

and a past so raw,

I know I am not my mistakes.

For beauty is within

the eyes of the beholder,

and though my slate may not be clean,

I am proud of

the strengthened woman

whose identity can finally be seen.
