Idiocracy

Idiocracy is a word that describes the fool I fall in this category All because I keep finding myself falling Once again for you. I close my eyes so tight So that I can wish the feelings away The feelings that pick me up But put me down the very next day. I press on a bright expression It shines through the scourging pain Just to play with your mind, to let it think Oh! Everything is still the same. Just when I feel that I’m doing well Making great progress and moving on You do something stupid, but great That keeps me dragging along. I will continue to act and pretend That you and whatever you do is something I respond to with “I don’t care” And you, you can keep living obliviously Playing the fool, not knowing my feelings are there.
