Idiot Kid

Watch by the window

Wait at the dock

The signal will color the sky

Red smoke so bleak and stale

Paper thin and deathly pale

Dripping in sand, caked with dust

An ornery frame of spite and rust

Blinded by fury, the vengeful ghost

Possessed by a raging vampy host

Acting out the standard way

Of an adolescent hateful stray

Fists balled so comically tight

With an axe in hand and hand in fight

Villainy rides a racing heart

Of an idiot kid who gets too smart
