If I could take a thousand pieces of me and throw them away If I could smash the anger and the hurt just to crack the smile If I could hide the pain that reigns deep under the surface that is not seen If I could…I would But what good would that do? Surely the undermining of other would easily release that burden, if only for a second And then the lips would part, then spread, then exist and a whole, if only for a minute Soon the love for those around me would grow and trust would reigns, if only for a moment If only I could…If only there was…If only….If only
