If

If love were water

I'd be a desert land

If tears were a map

I'd have my route planned

If pain were an ocean

I'd be the battered shore

If touch was air

I'd be gasping for more

If grief were a pit

I'd fall endlessly

If friendship were a harbor

I'd be lost at sea
