If

If I could be whatever I wanted to be

I would heal the sick and set them free.

I would care for them until they are not in need

Of me to love and to care and to feed.

If I could be whatever I wanted to be

I would cure every terrible disease.

I would make sure that none ever have to see

Any trace of it and always be pleased.

If I could be whatever I wanted to be

I would be a doctor that only receives

Pay from all the smiles that she brings

And all the times she brings a “yippee!”

If I could be whatever I wanted to be

I would want patients to be happy to see me

I would make sure that no one would ever have to plea

For cleansing from any infirmity. I hope you agree.
