As If

I am an indescribable mess

But will you look at me

As if

I am

The most beautiful mess

You have ever seen,

As if

You have and always,

Been in love

With the chaos

 That fills my mind

The scars hidden

Underneath the surface

Of my tan smooth skin

Look through the cracks

Of my soul

Understand

That you,

Only you

Hold the power

To stitch them up

Brush your lips

Against my own

Wrap your arms around me

In a warm embrace

Engulf me in flames

And even if

I'm made of broken pieces

Of shattered glass

Love me

As if

In this moment

I am whole
