If
If you could turn around, if you could go back.
Would you keep things the same?
Or pick up the slack?
If you could say the things that you didn't before,
would it be enough to stop all the war?
They say it won't matter; what could one person do?
I'm here to say that it all starts with you.
You decide where your path goes. You have a choice;
Are you going to let them silence your voice?
We can make a difference, we can take a stand.
But to do that we must stick together, hand in hand.
Yes, it is hard, to say what is right,
But if said together, we won't have to fight.
There won't be injustice, there's no need for hate,
But nothing will change if they force us to wait.
Speak up and speak out for what you believe,
And maybe there would be no need to grieve.
If we weren't afraid of speaking our mind, maybe we'd be able to turn back the time.
Turn back the clock to the day we all said,
if we could have been heard, peace would have been spread.
