...if given the chance

I am a flame.

A silent thing.

I can keep you warm,

or destroy your whole world.

I am a piano key.

A little thing.

I can help you create beautiful music,

or throw the whole thing off.

I am a nail.

A small thing.

I can hold the structure together,

or make the whole thing fall.

I am a

small, little, silent thing,

who could be a warm, beautiful, strong thing.

If you give me the chance.
