If I blink.
If I were to ask you how much time it took to blink, would you tell me that it's just a second and nothing will happen?
I'm sure you would, because to the untrained mind that is unexperienced and naive, that's all it is, a second.
But what about the little girl who blinked and next thing she knew, she was being removed from the flipped over car
and she was hearing people shouting that her daddy was not breathing and that they needed to get them both to the hospital immediately.
What about the man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time when he blinked and next thing he knew, he felt a searing pain and looked
down to see a bullet hole through his chest before collapsing to the ground.
What about the mother who was shopping when she blinked and next thing she knew, her baby was gone, nowhere to be seen and no clue as to
who had took him.
A blink, a second, so much can happen in that miniscule amount of time.
A child, broken. A life, taken. A bay, stolen. So please tell me, if I were to blink, what could possibly happen?
