If I Could

If I could Hold all the tears in my hand

I would hold them out, so you could see where they land

If I could Hold all the Tears in my hand.

If I could label each tear, with a date and time

I would label each one, so you could see the other side

If I could label each tear, with a date and time

If I could tell you I love you, without it sounding half true

Say it once or twice, so it might sink through

If I could, just tell you that I love you

I know you never thought it was your fault

I know you never thought you's go that far

But, I guess when you're in the moment

and within in it

You don't really know what youre capable of.

If I could tell you to put your cell phone down

The damage is done and I am home now

If I could, just tell you to put your cell phone down.

If I could Hold all the tears in my hand

I would hold them out, so you could see where they land

If I could Hold all the Tears in my hand.
