If I Could Fly
I love to look at the clouds in the sky,
Because when I do I feel I can fly,
If I could fly I would come see you,
Up there with skies so blue,
When I'd get to the gates that are colored gold,
I'd tell myself my heart is sold,
When I'd see your face I would cry,
Then I'd hide myself and wonder why,
When it'd be time for me to leave,
You'd wipe my tears on your sleeve,
If I ever needed you I'd shout real loud,
And your face would appear on a cloud,
I will always look for your face in the sky,
And hope someday that I could fly.
