If I Live
No one gives a damn if I shake till I fall down
No one cares if I'm sobbing on the ground
Face buried in a pile of dirt
So damn sad I can't say a word
No one would look if I cut my skin
I'm either sad or sadder, I just can't win
Everyone would turn their heads if I bled to death
After I make the final cut, it becomes a regret
If I bleed out, what would be the consequence?
I've been lying here and it makes so little sense
You want me to live, yet you don't care if I die
You want me to be happy, yet you don't care if I cry
It's so ironic, the wat life works
You work your ass off and receive none of life's perks
While those who take the easy way
Get all they ever wanted without having to pay
You say I'm sick, that I need help
But none of the meds will ever make me well
Tell me to find ways to distract myself
Put these harmful emotions up on a shelf
But nothing can change how I feel
I could have it all and still think it's unreal
But enough about me, let's talk about you
After all, I don't have a future. But you do
You easily follow orders. Told to be happy, you obey
When someone insults you, you know what to say
You are a strong person, you need no aid
Although at times you bend, you will never break
But I am weak, I am far from strong
This world makes me feel so wrong
I can never do things right, I'm always at fault
At times I wish I could fling myself off a catapault
I wish I'd die so I wouldn'r be so sad
I wish I were fone so I wouldn't feel this bad
But I can't do that, or I'll be labeled insane
So please, tell me, if I live, what's there to gain?
