If I Lose

Sweat trickles down my forehead,
I know I should go to bed,
Though I feel so alive,
I think my body will die,
But I can't stop now,
I need to finish somehow,
I can't let them win,
That would be a mortal sin,
Everything depends on me,
I have to save destiny,
But I'm starting to drift,
My body becoming stiff,
I don't want to leave,
So this cannot be,
I would be named a shame,
If I lose this video game.
