If I lost it

If I lost my mind.

That is what would make me go crazy.

If I lost the ability to be myself.

I don't know where I'd be. Looking back, not knowing who I was.

Or what I stood for. Makes me proud to say.

I am still confused.

I still make sassy remarks.

I laugh when I don't know what else to do.

But if I lost myself. Attempting to be someone else.

I know that would be the saddest story ever told.

Even if I can't find myself. I need myself so I don't lose who I truly am...me.
