If I Make Work Knowing

If I make work nowing, that the world is drawn to it

And comments on how good it is

Sowing praise at the place where there was none before

To weave well-wishing as well as the rest

Then I will forever freely be, a happy, happy man!

And, in being so, I hope that happiness casts a light of love

Onto every onlookers's soul and spirit

To glow with an unquenchable warmth!

Because all I want to do

Is make people

Feel a little better

Feel a little happier

Which will hopefully raise a smile!

That is 'the' purpose behind all art

Because it doesn't have to be like this

It can be something more

Because it doesn't have to be all

Doom and Gloom
