If I should die

If I should die before you do,

Don’t be sad, please don’t be blue.

I know when shared, life is the best,

Leaving outside all the rest.

Sometimes the journey is very lonesome,

But, when we arrive it’s truly awesome.

Don’t think of me as long gone,

Just be happy when you view my stone.

We’ll see each other when you come home,

Your dreams of me are the spiritual phone.

Don’t cry, don’t cry I hear you sigh,

We all awaken when we die.

Just see my face upon the sky,

Please, don’t cry if I should die.

Try not to be oh so sad,

I cherish the memories that we had.

Please, please don’t be blue,

The memories I take are all of you.

If I should die before you do,

Remember that my love was always true,

And in the Heavens I wait for you.
