If I'm Being Honest
If I'm being honest, I don't feel like I deserve this much grace and forgiveness.
If I'm being honest, who am I - a sinner - to say I am forgiven and free, even though I fall short of the glory of God and sin against Him?
I say I believe, and I believe I'm going to heaven, and I believe God has a plan for me.
But if I'm being honest, who am I that Christ would choose me, just a lowly girl from a sinful world?
To choose me again and again, though it cost Him His life.
Despite falling again, despite the pain, the hardships, the ups and downs, God still chooses me.
He pursued and loved me when I saw myself as nothing.
To be honest, I wouldn't choose me - God still chooses me just as I am.
Through His Word, I am always reminded of who I am in Christ!
There's so much more that God is doing in my life that I don't even realize.
Jesus, you have never given up on me!
Thank you, Lord, for never giving up on me, and I know you won't start now!!
