If It Wasn't For The Music

If it wasn't for the music

I don't know who I would be.

I don't know where I'd go,

Or the faces that I would see.

I'm thankful for the music,

The music that I will teach.

I'm glad that I can use it,

Oh, the people that I'll reach.

If it wasn't for those children,

Their faces smiling at me everyday,

I don't know what I'd do,

I would probably loose my way.

I want to teach the children,

Show them music in everything.

I want to show them creativity,

To hear their voices sing.

To think it will change my life,

There is certainly no doubt,

I would love to teach music to children,

For me, their is no other route.
