If the Land Fought the Sea

If the blood fought the muscle,
there'd be no heart
If the heart fought the brain,
there'd be no life
If the grass fought the soil,
there'd be no land
And if the land fought the sea,
there'd be no Earth

If we want to be anything,
we have to all work together
Stop all the hate,
stop all the fighting
Then we could all live,
in beautiful harmony

If the wood fought the lead,
there'd be no pencil
If the pencil fought the paper,
there'd be no words
If the wood fought the strings,
there'd be no guitar
And if the guitar fought the drums,
there'd be no song

If we want to be anything,
we have to all work together
Stop all the hate,
stop all the fighting
Then we could all live,
In beautiful harmony

If life fought the Earth,
there'd be no existence
If the words fought the song,
there'd be no meaning
And what's existence, without meaning?
