If my body could speak

If My Body Could Speak

It wouldn’t

it would scream  in agonising pain

It would yell at me for putting it through this.

It would send hate letters to my brain

Telling me we could just end it all

Reminding me that we could end the pain

Forever

The scary part is I gotten these reminders before

My body took over

It poured the glass of bleach and put it to my mouth

I stood there blank for a second
As my mind and body fought for me

One wanting me dead

The other wanting me alive

Everything was loud

But the pounding on the bathroom door was louder

Sending back in my mind's control.
