If My Truck Could Talk
If my truck could talk, It'd tell ya all about me.
The things Ive done and the things it did see.
It can remember my first kiss and being parked out under the big oak tree.
It remembers tears that I cried when we lost.
It remembers trips to the repair shop and screaming about the cost.
It would tell you about my Ma's battle to stay alive.
It would definetly tell you about how fast I drive.
It would tell you about sunday morning.
Or driving to school to do some learning.
It would be a proud truck, I hope.
It would tell you about the ballcap on the dash.
Or about all the checks we went to cash.
It would be proud to say that I wear boots.
It would be proud that no matter what I stick to my roots.
It would be proud to say it seen me grow.
It would want time to slow, or start over again.
Back to when I was 16 and I was full excite.
Back when all of my friends and I were really tight.
Back before I grew to be this height.
Oh yeah if my truck could talk, it'd tell you all about me.
That what I am isnt exactly what you see.
