If not now

When the rivers fail to flow, Drowned by the ambition of man, When the forest is barren of life, Emptied by a bloodied hand, When the oceans are empty, and there is nothing left to swim, When the skies are grey, stained by endless smoke, When the land is scarred, When the soil is dead, When the water is poisoned, When the sun fails to shine, You will find yourself as you are, Without a light Without a hope Alone
