If Only

If you could know what go’s on in my mind

I’m sure you would do a double take

Because I’m spirited and kind

And when I act the ground shakes

…and changes

If you could feel what I feel

In this society-run population

To you it wouldn’t seem so ideal

And there would be no hesitation

…You would just act

If you could dream what I dream

That the world could be a better place

You’d be amazed at what you could achieve

And not settle for second place

…Only first

So when you see my face

Know that I have more to say

I’m not just plain Jane

And at the end of the day

…I will make this world change
