if only

if only you knew the sorrows of a lost cause stained wrists and jeans with scars that will never fade if only you knew the horrors of a child filled with fear and pity wondering when life will end if only you knew the things they think whispering when you walk not listening when you speak if only you knew the things that we dream a long and happy story with a king and a queen if only they knew what i dreamt of at night faded scars and memories shadows fading in the light
