If Only

If Hickies were band aids then
Lying naked in your arms

Would be my therapy

And your kisses could stitch me up

And mimosas could be the remedy

For my sickness

And we could dance barefoot

Wasting time and singing songs

With our hair long to cover our own backs

Hands clasped like clams

We’d cure this
