If Only


If only I could verbalize The way you make me feel How I have constant butterflies Whose flutters I must conceal How the pitter-patter of my heart Keeps up a rhythmic beat That only your gaze can start My soul’s symphony on repeat I can only hope that these Whispered, steadfast I love yous Do more than merely tease And this heart’s melody easily construed
