If Only

If only, in that moment,

You saw me.

You knew me.

You dug deep into my soul,

And walked away.

You heart-breaker.

You betrayer.

You theif.

Stealing my heart,

And crushing it,

Into a thousand little pieces.

If only, in that moment,

You saw the pain.

You knew the hurt.

And yet,

You broke it anyways.

If only, in that moment,

I could tell you again,

How much you meant to me.
