If Only I had Known
Effervescent, Enigmatic, Facetious,
Tenacious, Dour, Loquacious
The other sides of me
That only some can see
These other sides I cannot see
And so I do not know
Which to be
The other sides of me
That only some can see
This side that side
Time does not abide
To the span you give it
Finding time to hide
The things you don’t want known
The things you don’t want shown
