If Souls Could Speak

If souls could speak what would they say?

Mine would say strong,

For the way I fight my demons everyday.

Mine would say brave,

For the way I speak out against those who hurt others.

Mine would say enough,

As a constant reminder that I am enough for this world.

Mine would say why,

For I have put it through unnecessary pain.

Mine would say thank you,

For even when the world tells me to hate it... I love my soul.

If souls could speak what would yours say
