If Time is of the Essence . . . Then What is it?

Time is alot of things. It has numerous definitions -and perceptions- Time can be a measurement of how long -or a definition of how old- so Time is a specification Time can take you to a different setting so Time is a place -or a means for transportation- Time can end a waiting period. But Time can keep you waiting. so Time is a barrier. Time can be your friend - or enemy- so Time is an acquaintance. Time holds your emotions, and chooses when to release them, so Time is a teller. Over Time things heal, so Time is an infinte emotional medicine for wounds And over Time you learn, So Time is your teacher's aide. Time is familiar to everything -directly or indirectly known- so Time is common. Time is complex -but simple- so Time is intricate. Time is thought to sometimes be finite -in reality it is always infinite- so Time is of the essence.
